I am honored to serve as your Ohio County Sheriff.

I bring twenty-four years of law enforcement knowledge and experience. In those many years, I have served in various levels of police leadership: from Police Chief for the city of Beaver Dam; to being a Kentucky State Trooper and Detective serving the commonwealth in the Post 9 and Post 16 areas.

I grew up in Ohio County, and was educated in Ohio County Public Schools. I have a personal interest in Ohio County and the things that affect our community. I am grateful to have the chance to serve in a leadership role in the place where I grew up as someone who was not as fortunate as others; but also, in a place where, as an adult, I’m able to understand the desires and the needs of families who have broken cycles and desire to enjoy lives.

The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office is a model agency in many ways. We have over forty employees who strive each day to better serve the citizens of Ohio County in all that we do.

I am excited as we move this agency forward with the values that we have charged ourselves with; that being: Integrity, Professionalism, and accountability.
